Sardarapat Centennial

May 28
Republic Square

May 28 is an important and memorable date for the Armenian nation. In 2018 Armenia have been celebrating the 100th anniversary of the First Armenian Republic and of the Heroic Battles of May.

The 100-year struggle for statehood, religion and the coming generation, as well as the victories of May were destined to shape today’s free and independent Armenia.

On May 28, a major concert has beenorganized by Mezzo Production at the Republican Square in Yerevan where the residents and guests of the country had the chance to enjoy performances by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, Maratuk Ensemble, a choir composed of minor choirs, Kamo Seyranyan, Sevak Khanagyan, Sirusho, Razmik Amyan, Gor Sujyan, Arto Tunçboyaciyan and Hélène Ségara. Every single performance and detail were well thought out and planned: special sound and visual effects, lighting and 3D animation made the concert even more engaging, giving those attending the event an opportunity to travel back in time to 1918, see the present and get inspiration to build a better future.
